Terms of Service

Last updated 15 August 2026

1. Who we are

LabYard ("we", "us") is a hands-on training platform operated by LabYard, available at labyard.in. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Your account

You need a verified email address to register. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done through your account. Accounts are for one person โ€” only one active session is permitted per account, and logging in elsewhere ends your other sessions. Sharing an account, or sharing paid course content with someone who has not paid for it, may result in the account being suspended.

3. What the platform provides

LabYard offers training across Cybersecurity, Data Science and Data Analytics, delivered as practice labs, quizzes, interview preparation and dataset-based coding exercises. Course content, scoring and availability may change as we improve the material. We do not guarantee that completing any course will lead to certification, employment or any particular outcome.

4. Acceptable use โ€” please read this one

Some labs on this platform are deliberately vulnerable applications, built for you to attack as part of learning. That permission is strictly limited:

If you find a genuine security flaw in the platform itself (as opposed to a lab), please report it to learnctflab@gmail.com rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue action against anyone who reports a flaw responsibly and does not access other users' data.

5. Paid access

Courses are sold individually as time-limited subscriptions (1, 3, 6 or 12 months). Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) on the upgrade page before payment and may change for future purchases; a change never affects access you have already paid for. Payments are processed by Razorpay โ€” we never see or store your card details. Access begins immediately on successful payment. Purchases are non-refundable โ€” please read section 6 below before paying.

6. Non-refundable โ€” no refunds or cancellations

Subscriptions are non-refundable. We sell time-limited access to digital course content, and access is granted in full the moment payment succeeds โ€” the material cannot be returned once viewed. Please use the free content to decide before you buy. We do not refund for changing your mind, for not using or not finishing a course, for buying the wrong course or plan length, for dissatisfaction with the content or its difficulty, or where access was withdrawn for breaching these terms.

We will always correct our own mistakes. Contact us and we will refund or restore access if you were charged more than once for the same subscription, if a payment succeeded but the course did not unlock, or if a charge was made without your authorisation (once verified with our payment provider). Report these to learnctflab@gmail.com within 7 days of the charge, with the payment reference from your receipt.

Cancellation. Subscriptions are one-time purchases for a fixed period (1, 3, 6 or 12 months) and do not auto-renew, so there is no recurring billing to cancel โ€” nothing is charged again unless you buy again. You may stop using the platform at any time; this does not shorten or refund the remaining paid period, and your access stays available until it expires.

How approved refunds are paid. Refunds approved above are processed through Razorpay back to the original payment method. We initiate them within 5 business days of approval; your bank or card issuer typically takes a further 5โ€“10 business days to credit the amount. We cannot refund to a different account or method.

7. Content and intellectual property

All course material, labs, questions and platform code remain the property of LabYard. Your access is a personal, non-transferable licence to use the material for your own learning. You may not copy, resell, republish or redistribute it, or use it to run a competing training service.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the platform running continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates and occasional faults may cause downtime. Extended outages are not grounds for a refund; see section 6 for the narrow exceptions.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms โ€” particularly the acceptable use rules in section 4, or attempts to obtain paid access without paying. Where a breach is serious, this may happen without notice and without refund of remaining subscription time. You may stop using the platform at any time; see section 6 for what happens to a paid subscription.

10. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is" for educational purposes. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost profits, or for any consequences of how you apply what you learn here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as the platform develops. The "last updated" date above will change, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

13. Contact
